Social sustainability is a cornerstone of how we run our business, ensuring care and respect for everyone involved in our value chain – from suppliers to employees and the communities around us.

We take pride in ensuring that everyone working with our products operates under fair conditions. This applies to both our own team and the suppliers we collaborate with. We work with partners who share our values and provide their employees with safe working conditions, fair wages, and respectful treatment. No one should endure unsafe or unfair circumstances in the production of our furniture. While the process of examining our suppliers’ practices has only just begun and is a significant undertaking for a small Danish production company, we are fully committed to the journey.

We are part of the Confederation of Danish Industry and the East Jutland Joiners’ Guild, striving to help preserve traditional craftsmanship in Denmark and integrate it into the modern design world. This creates jobs and contributes to the development of new Danish talent, who have the opportunity to master and carry forward their skills. At Snedkergaarden, we regularly host interns and apprentices and dedicate time to passing on our knowledge.
